cheddha nagar cricket tournament

Manan and I are organizing an under 2o tournament in cheddha nagar on this sunday (14/03/2010).
No. of teams-9 teams.
No.of players per team-8 players.
Per team fees-rs 700.
No. of overs per innings-6 overs.
Maximum no. of overs a bowler can bowl-2 overs.
Winning amount and the runners up amount has not been decided yet.But i will make sure that it is above rs 2000 for the winning team and around rs 700 for the runners up.

FORMAT:
9 teams will be divided into three groups.These 3 groups will play among themselves (each team will play atleast 2 matches in the group stages.)
After this round two teams from each group (6 teams) will make it through to the next round.
Next round will be the knock out round.There will be 3 matches held between six teams.The three teams which win will go through to the semifinals.The fourth semi finalist team will be selected on the basis of net run rate.
Followed by this will be the two semis and the finals.
